Birkey’s in Casey has increased the number of parts stocked by 60% over the last two years, and we have been able to fill 97% of our orders. On the rare occasions where we don’t have a part in stock, we have shuttles running through the week from all over the state to bring parts to Casey from not only manufacturer’s parts depots, but also our 16 other locations within 24 hours.  

Our Parts Drop Box

Birkey’s understands making a trip to our store to pick up a part isn’t always convenient. You may be busy working in the field and don’t have time to make the trip to the store, or are too far away. Which is why we have 3 different drop box locations where you can pick up parts orders in the area. They can be found at Mark Davidson’s in West Union, The Equity in Marshall, and Daily Feed & Seed in Mattoon. We’ve included a map to show the different locations.

Meet Our Parts Team

The parts department for Birkey’s Farm Store in Casey consists of experts who have 85 combined years of experience in the ag industry. They are knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and always happy to help you find what you need.

• Steve Lankster started his career in the parts department at Birkey's in Oakland, where he worked for 15 years. Steve has spent the last year as the Parts Manager at the Birkey’s Farm Store in Casey.  He enjoys drag racing and working on model cars.
• Dustin Stephens has worked in the agriculture industry for more than 25 years; the last 2 years have been spent at Birkey’s in the parts department. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, spending time with family, and sports. Dustin likes to play basketball when he has time.
• Don Pruemer has spent the last 2 years with Birkey’s as a parts salesman, but has 44 years of experience in the agriculture industry. Don grew up on a farm and eventually joined the FFA. He enjoys gardening, woodworking, and attending sporting events like football, basketball, and baseball games.

Birkey's Bulk Oil Program

Birkey’s also offers bulk oil delivery directly to the customer, allowing you to stock up on oil. The oil is delivered to our Bloomington location by Viscosity Oil Company, where it’s stored in large tanks. We fill our bulk oil delivery truck from these tanks, as well as 5-gallon buckets and 55-gallon drums, which are then sent to our stores to be sold. We provide free delivery with a minimum 50-gallon fill-up via our delivery truck. The truck will deliver 15W40 engine oil and hydraulic/transmission oil; but for 30 weight oil, you would need to bring your containers to the store so it can be sent through the shuttle to be filled and sent back. The parts department can provide details on additional information, such as pricing and delivery dates. We also list the bulk oil scheduled deliveries for each store on our free Birkey’s calendars.
