Birkey's Farm Store in Shelbyville Announces New Sales Representative

Shelbyville, IL, March 25, 2025 – In early March, Birkey’s Farm Store in Shelbyville announced the hiring of a new Sales Representative, Sam Black. 

Sam has over six years of prior sales experience and is excited to bring his skillset and fresh perspectives to Birkey’s in Shelbyville. “I have a strong desire to explore and understand the world” says Sam, citing it as one of the many reasons he is excited to interact with Birkey’s customers. Sam has been working closely with store manager Craig Lenz as he acclimates to the agriculture industry.

In his free time, Sam enjoys mountain biking, video games and hunting. “I like taking risks. I have a vivid imagination, which makes me both open-minded and persistent in everything I do.” He mentioned that he is looking forward to applying these aspects of himself to supporting Birkey’s customers.
