Birkey's in Oakland Announces New Store Manager

Birkey’s is excited to announce the promotion of Jeremy East to Store Manager of the Oakland location.

Jeremy grew up with a passion for sports and aspired to become a sports broadcaster for ESPN, but life took him on a different path. Since a young age, Jeremy has helped his family farm, both in the fields and by caring for cattle. Agriculture became his passion too. Jeremy attended college intending to pursue his sports broadcasting dream but soon decided agriculture was the right path.

On November 5th, 2001, Jeremy began his career at Birkey’s in Oakland; Jim Campbell, the store manager, hired him to work in shipping and receiving. Eventually, he moved to the parts department, followed by precision farming, and then ag sales. When asked about his time at Birkey’s he said, “Every step along the way has been an incredible experience. The ag side has changed so much throughout the years. Technology, parts, service; it’s all changed so much. Birkey’s is a company I am proud to say I work for, and I’m excited about what the future holds.”
