New Store Manager In Mattoon

Mattoon, Ill. - Birkey's Construction Equipment, a full line Case Construction dealer, would like to extend our gratitude to Don Spence, who is retiring on July 3rd after 31 years of service at the dealership. We have all benefited from his years of experience and knowledge about equipment and the industry. Everyone here is thankful for Don's leadership in Mattoon. 

“Don has been a fixture in the Mattoon dealership for many years and will be missed greatly. He cares about his staff, his customers, and his community. He has provided industry knowledge to all of the Birkey’s CE team. I wish him nothing but the best in his retirement. We will miss you Don.” said Birkey's Vice President Jeff Hedge.

Birkey's is proud to announce Jeff Feldkamp has been named store manager in Mattoon, effective June 1, 2020. Jeff joined our team in March of this year and has been working side by side with Don and our leadership team to prepare for the transition. 

Jeff joins our team having experience with construction equipment including development testing, service training and product training. His work background includes the following companies: CNH, Bobcat, GSI, and AGI. 

Feldkamp grew up in Michigan, where he learned how to bale hay and milk cows. Jeff used his passion of restoring and selling antique tractors to fund his college education.
